A seasoned business facilitator, culture change consultant and executive coach, she has successfully partnered with national and international clients in the development and implementation of strategy and programs to drive organizational and individual effectiveness.

Experience

Working with individuals, groups and executive teams, Susan is passionate about partnering leaders, boards and organizations to help them design and deliver high impact programs to create healthy and high performing work cultures.

Fascinated by personal and business transformation, after leaving her role as Marketing Director for Successories, Susan moved into business facilitation in 1993 with Success Training. Specializing in communication training, group dynamics, mentoring, conflict resolution and team building, she was intrigued by the impact of organizational dynamics and leadership capability on work place performance.

 

Joining Deloittes in Brisbane in 1998 as a Director, Susan headed HR and Change Management for Growth Solutions. Her capacity to link strategy to implementation and to connect individuals and teams with their full potential led to an invitation to join McKinsey & Company. In 2001, Susan began working in the area of Cultural Transformation, Capacity Building and Leadership Development with McKinsey’s Global Network of Transformational Facilitators. International highlights include: Anglo-Coal in South Africa (2003-2006), Taishin Bank, (Taiwan), LG (Korea) and ANZ Breakout (2001-2006).

 

Her commercial experience and keen focus on outcomes and deliverables, combined with her insight, compassion and willingness to confront hard topics, delivers results for her coaching and consulting clients. Industry sectors Susan has worked with include Engineering, Construction, Finance/Banking, Manufacturing, Mining, Professional Services, Government and Health. A brief list of corporate clients include: EY, PWC, Leightons, Chevron, Woodside, AMP, GIO, IAG, Westpac, CBA, ANZ and Johnson & Johnson. In the Government Sector, Susan has worked with the CSIRO, British Telecom, the Department of Treasury & Finance (DTF), Water Corporation, Health WA and FaHSCIA.

 

Qualifications

In addition to her Bachelor of Education, Susan has numerous certifications in the neuro-cognitive field of NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming); behavioural science; and training, design and facilitation. She is accredited in a number of profiling and 360-degree tools, including: LSI by Human Synergistics, The Leadership Circle (TLC), DiSC, Barrett’s Values and Corporate Transformational Tools, Experiential Learning Design, Accelerated Learning, Advanced Process Facilitation, and Professional Skills Certificate – Conflict Resolution and Mediation.

A member of the Institute of Learning Practitioners (ILP), Susan’s work draws upon her extensive study in Group Dynamics, Change Management, Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space, World Café, Ontological Coaching and REBT – Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy. Susan uses an evidence based approach, a rigorous Leadership Competency Framework, along with other 360-degree diagnostics to support Management and Executive Development.
