Andrea Munro guides teams and leaders to greater effectiveness and impact through coaching. For over 15 years she has supported leaders, teams and talent agendas in large, complex organisations across the professional services, financial services and telecommunications sectors.
She has leadership experience in agile and traditional ways of working and has navigated significant organisational change.
Experience
Andrea has held roles as Telstra’s Head of Coaching, Executive and Leadership Coach to key Executive talent, and People Leader in the Organisational Development domain. She led Telstra’s global Coaching Panel, partnering with exceptional coaches and advising executive teams and leaders on bespoke development solutions.
She has designed and facilitated leadership learning programs including leader as coach, feedback and peer coaching programs, and bespoke coaching capability development for teams of leaders up to C-suite. Andrea led the strategy and design for Telstra’s company-wide Executive Succession Planning and created a new suite of Executive development offerings, to support Executive talent readiness.
Andrea’s coaching and leadership development philosophy is informed by a successful corporate career and education in psychology, organisational coaching and systemic change. Her coaching enables real change in teams and leaders that creates improved business results. Teams and leaders can sustain these changes beyond coaching, because they emerge from true personal shift, and a deeper understanding of the life and work systems they are part of.
Clients are invited to work with Andrea holistically- to grow their impact and leadership in a way that aligns with who they are as people. Through calm presence, non-judgement and genuine challenge, Andrea builds trusted partnerships and reflective space that helps her clients unlock new potential and real change.

Qualifications
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Melbourne University and trained in Organisational Coaching at Swinburne University.
She is accredited in the Leadership Circle Profile and Hogan Leadership assessment and is a member of the Association for Coaching (AC) and International Coaching Federation (ICF).
