Julie Phillis has over 20 years experience helping unlock transformative change & growth across diverse industries and organisational challenges, as both a business leader and consultant & coach.

Her sweet spot is working alongside leaders wanting to lead adaptive change in complex, ambiguous environments and to pioneer innovative solutions to systemic challenges.

Experience

Julie’s career has centred around creativity, innovation, transformation, agility and leadership. She started her career in brand management with Coca-Cola South Pacific and Diage; before moving into strategic leadership roles in TV, Print Media and Advertising; and then following a lifelong curiosity for human potential into her second career in people, culture & systems transformation consulting.

Julie’s work integrates the structural, strategic and human aspects of change; incorporating systems thinking; culture transformation frameworks; understanding customer needs in evolving markets; vertical development of leaders and teams; creating collaborative, high-performance environments; and crafting inspiring narratives for change.

Her sector experience includes: FMCG, Advertising, Media & Entertainment, Medtech, Telco, Banking & Finance, Superannuation, Education and Social Impact.

She has coached hundreds of leaders & teams at the emerging, Senior and Executive leader level in Australia and globally, in organisations including ING, Aware Super, Suncorp, AMP, Lendlease, Johnson & Johnson, Toll, Binge and NSW Department of Education.

She’s applied her long standing commitment to positive social impact through pro bono work and mentorship in Education and Youth Development and has a passion for mentoring emerging talent to create disruptive thinking and innovative solutions to systemic challenges, such as climate change and sustainability.

Qualifications

Julie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW; has completed micro-credentials in Sustainable Leadership from AGSM; and is accredited in a suite of consulting and coaching certifications, including:
