Karen Schulz has over 25 years of internal corporate leadership and external consulting experience, working nationally and internally at Boards, CEO’s, Corporate Executives and Senior Leaders levels bringing applied NeuroLeadership methodology into her areas of specialisation such as leadership development, executive and leadership coaching, psychological safety and organisation culture strategy and development.
Experience
Karen partners with Boards and Executives to align business strategy, culture, leadership development, structure, and performance with business outcomes. She works with the Utilities, technology, transport, health, retail, research, education, aviation, and finance industries as well as the government, non-government and not-for-profit sectors.
Karen has developed and delivered customised leadership development programs utilising world class frameworks, a mix of customised individual and collective leadership interventions which rapidly build leadership awareness and capability. Karen is known for her design and implementation of practical and business-suitable programs implemented through customised approaches building internal capability, ownership and delivering sustained benefits for people and the organisation.
As an experienced ICF Credentialed Executive and Leadership coach with up to 2000 coaching hours, Karen has a proven track record of effectively supporting leaders to rapidly identify and understand underlying mindsets, beliefs and behaviours and supports them to make significant behavioural shifts. Karen utilises the results based coaching system drawing from the heart of neuroscience and incorporating the study of change, systems theory, and positive psychology. Karen’s open, pragmatic, and authentic style rapidly builds rapport as a trusted advisor, drawing upon her comprehensive range of neuroscience expertise, practical tools, behavioural and skill development techniques to support Leaders in their day-to-day strategies to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
Qualifications
Karen is a lifelong learner and is currently completing a Doctoral program focusing on Applied Organisational Neuroscience through Middlesex University with credentials and academic qualifications including an Associate Diploma in Neuroscience of Leadership, ICF ACC credentialed coach, Brain Based Coaching, Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors, Professional Development Certificate in Coaching Practice. Sydney University, Bachelor of Business (Accounting), CQU.
